Low sugar mango sorbet recipe
This refreshing, low fat and sugar dessert is a delicious treat, especially when you fancy something sweet and indulgent that won’t show on your waistline. You can use fresh mango if you like, but these frozen chunks are a great time and money saver.
Serves 4
200g frozen mango chunks
1 heaped tbsp. Splenda® Granular
1tsp lemon juice
100g low fat natural yogurt
100ml cold water
1 passion fruit
Fresh mint leaves
2 tsp desiccated coconut
1 passion fruit
Method
1. Blitz the mango chunks, Splenda® Granular, lemon juice, yogurt, and water in a blender to form a sweet pulp.
2. Pour this into a bowl and mix in the passion fruit seeds.
3. Taste, adding a little more Splenda® Granular if you like it sweeter, or a little more lemon juice if you like it sharper. Transfer to a plastic tub with a lid and freeze for 6 hours.
