Kelly Lloyd-Sanderson of wellness organisation, Arbonne has some answers. Learn how to layer your skincare with her five-step routine, and give your best-ever face, every day.
1 Cleanse
‘Cleansing is key to making your skin look its best, so before applying any product, give your face a thorough wash. At night, use a more rigorous cleanser before going to bed, so that all traces of makeup are removed.’
2 Nourish
‘Serums have highly concentrated formulas that work deep down within the skin to provide targeted benefits, be it anti-ageing properties, a healthy glow or an improved complexion. Use serum as soon as you’ve dried off post-shower so that the product can really seep into the skin and work its magic. Don’t forget, you only need to use two or three pumps.’
3 Moisturise
‘Only after your serum has had time to settle in, use your mousturiser. You may wish to use a more generous amount before going to bed so that your skin has time to absorb as much of the product’s benefits as possible. In the daytime, use a moisturiser with an SPF if to shield skin from the sun.’
4 Prep
‘For a truly flawless finish start by using a primer. Then, use a concealer to cover any blemishes. Using a concealer before a full base means you probably won’t need as much foundation, helping you to achieve a more natural look and save on product.’

‘Finally, a foundation or CC cream can be applied for fuller coverage. Make sure your base contains an SPF, particularly if your moisturiser doesn’t.’
